welcome to my journal

I”m so looking forward to spring and everything it’s promised. 

A new beginning, a fresh start,             

hair blowing in the wind,

sun kiss

longer days and warmer nights,

cool breeze

bare arms.

We spent one Saturday wondering around the Opera House with ice cream in our hands just like a tourist. We sat along the water and had coffee, white wine and just chilled. The kids had lots of fun chasing seagulls and doing relays up and down the Opera House steps.

On another Saturday, we walked along the streets of Avalon and wandered through the shops. I feel at home  here for some reason. We bought fairy lights to decorate my precious girl’s room and some candles to reminds us of the smell of the sea and watermelon. We stopped by the Boathouse for a late lunch and played on the beach.

These are just a few images that reminds me of what those days feels like. Lazy days like these with no activities or a schedule to be anywhere really calms me and refreshes my soul.
