“I still can’t believe I still love building a cubby house at 11.” Alannah joyfully said out loud as she buzzed around bringing blankets and pillows for the set up. “I want it all enclosed!”

She flipped the giant velcro dartboard we bought for them after Xmas to its side to create her cubby house. She pulled out 5/6 blankets from all the rooms. I lined the ground with two blankets to make it soft and comfortable to lie on and the rest were thrown over to enclose the area. I helped her put the fairy lights in to create that magical feel.

She called out to Tyler and invited him to join her. Her voice sounded like a happy bird chirping, her eyes are bright and full of life, her body jumping up and down with joy and excitement. She sends a wave of hope and comfort and set the soul of this house alive. She is the light.
