welcome to my journal

Our polo just got picked up and is back home. He still can barely stand on his legs for more then 3 seconds without slipping flat to the floor. He’s been on the drip since yesterday and we just need to make sure he keeps hydrated. We will have to monitor him and need to take him back to do a liver and kidney test should his condition don’t improve. For now, plenty of rest, fluid, cooked rice and chicken feed to his mouth and antibiotics.

You know when people speak of love, it’s the unconditional, selfless, non judgemental love that we all desire. I think this is the dog life’s purpose. They come into our life to teach us how to love and what loyalty is. They show us what unconditional means and what it means not to be judged. Whether we are sick, tired .. whatever state or condition we are in, they are right next to us.

We love you Polo. We love you alot. We hope for you to feel better and to be able run around the pool with taiyah and nahnah soon. Taiyah and nahnah want to feed you water till you’re ok again.
