It rained and we postponed ..

Dylan had a black eye so we postponed – the little boy who I eagerly wanting to meet as the last time was when he was in his mummy’s tummy ..

Aiyana had a big stack and we postponed again …

Vanessa was feeling regretful as Summer was coming to an end and she really wanted to have a photoshoot at the beach as this is where they spend their time together through summer, where precious family memories are made. Also, Vanessa wanted images before Aiyana’s bottom front tooth falls out and it looks like its ready to fall. I understand from Vanessa’s view but from a mum who’s been through that , I shared with Vanessa that some of my most precious pics are ones with my daughter with missing teeth. When I look back at those pics of my kids with missing teeth, it reminds me of the milestone and how small they used to be once upon a time and those memories along with the feelings tugs my heart.

“Like you said, there’s always going to be something happening with the kids. Wish i’d got my act together sooner and not taken so long to get family photos. They are physically growing up too quickly.”

The day before the shoot, Aiyana’s tooth fell out. On the day of the shoot, the sun was glorious. The beach was full of people taking advantage of the last day of Summer in 2021. Memories are made of events leading to and on days like this ..
