I held him like a baby and took him to the front door this morning. Polo likes to look out the road. I thought resting there might soothe him.

He’s making progress and eating a little now. His tongue colour is almost back to the normal pinky rather than dark bruised burgundy.

The kids have been great with him. Cuddling and kissing him, being close enough to see him and to keep an eye on him but keeping the distance as Polo may need his space. I told the kids he won’t fall asleep and able to rest if they keep patting and kissing him and rest is what he needs most.

I love the love and the respect I see in this pic. Be there to always care but gives space for one to breathe
